Renovation of a municipal facility in Mansfield, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
All contractors involved with this project will to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of this project. Bidders shall submit a list of equipment available and all labor shall be paid not less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties making the same and all persons interested therein, and must be accompanied, pursuant to Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, by a satisfactory BID GUARANTY AND CONTRACT BOND or PROPOSAL BOND executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount for each individual proposal; or by a certified check, cashier's check, or a letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount for each individual proposal, payable to the City of Mansfield, Ohio as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into. Awarding of the contract shall be to the Lowest and Best bidder as determined by the City of Mansfield's Board of Control in the best interest of the City of Mansfield. The City of Mansfield's Board of Control reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any irregularities. Question Deadline 05/24/2024 Any interpretation, correction, or modification to the specifications desired shall be submitted in writing to the Mansfield City Engineer, 30 N.
