Closing Time: 2:00 PM (NT) Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/05/13 02:00:00 PM NDT Work under this project consists of the supply of all labour, equipment and materials necessary to complete storm drainage improvements on various roads in the Town of North West River, NL. The scope of work under this project includes, but is not limited to: Cutting, removal and patching of asphalt and/or concrete to accommodate removal and installation of culverts and asphaltic concrete ditch. Removal of existing culverts. Culverts that are deemed salvageable by the Resident Inspector shall be stored for future use by the Town. Unsuitable culverts shall be disposed of an approved waste disposal facility. Supply and installation of new culverts. Clearing of trees and within the excavation areas. Excavation and or deepening of roadside ditches and a storm drainage channels to the lines and grades as detailed on the Project Drawings. Excavated materials shall be disposed of at a site selected by the contractor and approved by the Town. Placement of random rip rap to line the bottom and sides of the excavated ditches/channels. Preparation and installation of asphaltic concrete ditches on Montague Road. Placement of rigid insulation below bottom of excavations crossing water mains. All reinstatement and cleaning as required. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
