Purpose of Procurement Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Qualified Contractors (eRFQC) is being issued to establish a contract with one or more qualified suppliers who will provide 56900-eRFQC-000001066-2024 to the Dalton State College (hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this eRFQC. Dalton State College (hereafter "DSC"), a Unit of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia (Owner) with a campus in Dalton, GA, is seeking Statements of Qualifications from firms interested in providing Task Order Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Life Safety services for certain small construction projects. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks to identify qualified potential providers of the above-mentioned services. 1.1.2 DSC is responsible for procuring and administering the Task Order Contract(s) for limited services for construction projects in support of DSC. 1.1.3 A contract will be issued for an indefinite amount of "as needed" construction orders named "Task Orders." Each Task Order consists of a Task Order Agreement, with attachments, together with the master Task Order Contract. The maximum of all Task Order Agreements issued, including all relevant Change Orders, shall not exceed $ 500,000.00 for this contract. The intent is to issue up to five separate contracts for Task Order Contracting. 1.1.4 Contract, if awarded, will be on a blanket order basis. Both performance and payment bonds will be required in an amount equal to 100% for any Task Order Agreement over $100,000.00, but may be required on a Task Order Agreement at the sole discretion of DSC regardless of the dollar amount. The scopes of services may vary from project to project. Projects may consist of, but may not be limited to, certain renovations and related building repair and maintenance work for the various facilities at DSC. 1.1.5 The delivery method of each assignment under the Task Order Contract will be a Task Order Agreement issued in conjunction with a purchase order issued by the DSC Procurement Office.
