As of June 11, 2024, project was awarded to Innova NW but awarded amount is not available. The Housing Authority of the City of Vancouver (VHA) is issuing this request for proposals with the intention of awarding a contract for the purchase and installation of a security system for our Fishers Mill property, in accordance with RCW 39.26. A Contract may be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. Please note that this work will be performed in conjunction with a larger property-wide renovation and will require the Awarded Proposer to collaborate and coordinate with the project's Architect, Owner, and Prime G.C. This collaborative work will involve assisting the Owner and Architect with specifying the install locations and infrastructure needs for the Clubhouse security cameras, FOBs, and camera monitoring systems rack and working with the Owner, Architect & Prime G.C. to determine the most effective project schedule and delineation of the project scope. The Awarded Proposer, in collaboration with the Owner, Architect, and Prime G.C., will assist in determining the best approach to the project, which may include the Prime G.C. installing the required security system infrastructure (electrical and low voltage) during the Clubhouse renovation and in advance of the Awarded Proposer's install of the cameras, FOBs, and monitoring equipment. The larger renovation project is set to begin construction in early October 2024 and requires that the Awarded Proposer be able to commence the system design work immediately upon being awarded the contract. To be awarded the project, the Awarded Proposer must be able to complete the Designs and Specifications of the project by no later than August 1, 2024.
