Site work and paving for a road / highway in Soap Lake, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Schedule A: Marinas Drive and 1st Avenue North East Improvements Schedule A provides for roadway improvements for approximately 480 LF of Marinas Drive (formerly Canna Street North) from Main Avenue East to Smokiam Park, and 420 LF of 1st Avenue NE from Daisy Street (SR 17) to Marinas Drive. The work includes, but is not limited to, pulverizing the existing pavement, excavation, grading, subgrade preparation, cement treated base, hot mix asphalt, storm drainage improvements, cement concrete curb, gutters, curb ramps, sidewalks, driveway entrances, pavement markings, utility adjustments, traffic control, miscellaneous surface restoration, and all other appurtenances required to complete the work in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Special Provisions, and the Specifications. Schedule B: Main Avenue West Reconstruction Schedule B provides for roadway improvements for approximately 1,200 LF of Main Avenue West from Cherry Street to Ginkgo Street. The work includes, but is not limited to, pulverizing the existing pavement, excavation, grading, subgrade preparation, cement treated base, hot mix asphalt, storm drainage improvements, cement concrete curb, gutters, curb ramps, sidewalks, driveway entrances, pavement markings, utility adjustments, traffic control, miscellaneous surface restoration, and all other appurtenances required to complete the work in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Special Provisions, and the Specifications. The Work shall be substantially complete within 90 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Soap Lake, Washington. Bond Notes : All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the "City of Soap Lake" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount. As required by the Contract, a postal money order, certified check, cashier's check or Proposal bond made payable to the Owner is attached hereto. If this Proposal is accepted and the undersigned fail(s) or refuse(s) to enter into a contract and furnish the required performance bond, labor and material payment bond, special guarantee bonds (if required), required insurance and all other required documentation, the undersigned will forfeit to the Owner an amount equal to five percent of the Proposal amount. Owner Rights: The City of Soap Lake expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any Proposal. The undersigned agrees that the Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive any minor irregularities and informalities in any Proposal. ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE 1,540,000 - 1,590,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
