Lusd Tierra Del Sol Middle School Security Fence As described in the General Provisions, the successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a separate Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total Contract Price, and each issued by a California-admitted surety as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Each bid shall be accompanied by: (a) cash; (b) a certified check made payable to the District; (c) a cashier's check made payable to the District; or (d) a satisfactory bid bond payable to the District executed by the bidder as principal and an admitted surety approved to conduct business in the State of California as surety, in an amount not less than 10% of the maximum amount of the bid. Personal sureties and unregistered surety companies are unacceptable. The award of the Contract, if made by the District, will be to the lowest responsible bidder therefore whose bid complies with all of the prescribed requirements.
