It is the intent to purchase hot pour crack sealant for crack and joint sealing for expansion joints, longitudinal and traverse cracks in both asphalt and concrete. INTENT: It is the intent to purchase hot pour crack sealant for crack and joint sealing for expansion joints, longitudinal and transverse cracks in both asphalt and concrete. PRICE: Price shall be net F.O.B. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, BAY SHORE DPW YARD, 145 SECOND AVE., BAY SHORE, NY 11706 or ANY POINT IN THE TOWN OF ISLIP and shall remain in effect for one (1) year from date of award with the Town's option to renew for two (2) additional years under the same terms and conditions. QUANTITY: Quantity planned is approximately 8,400 pounds; however, the contract shall be for the amount actually ordered during the contract period. WARRANTY: Bidder shall guarantee materials against manufacturing defects and all warranty rights shall pass through to the Town of Islip. Additionally, bidder shall provide the Town of Islip with all warranty information at the time of bid submission. INSPECTION: The Town of Islip reserves the right to inspect the facility and proposed product to determine if the products meet the specifications and to determine that the proposer has adequate facilities to produce the materials. BIDDER QUALIFICATIONS: Company must be authorized to do business in New York State by New York State Department of State NO BID SHALL BE WITHDRAWN NOR PRICE INCREASED FOR A PERIOD OF FORTY-FIVE (45) DAYS AFTER BEING PUBLICLY OPENED AND READ. BID SUBMISSION: ALL BIDS TO BE SUBMITTED IN A SEALED ENVELOPE - NO FAX OR EMAIL. NO RESPONSIBILITY SHALL ATTACH TO ANY PERSON OR PERSONS FOR PREMATURE OPENING OF BIDS NOT PROPERLY LABLED OR SEALED.
