The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to solicit bids to establish a Contract through competitive sealed bids for dredging within the existing berth and access channel of Virginia International Gateway (VIG), encompassing maintenance and new work dredging to an elevation of mean lower low water (MLLW) - 57. The Work shall be substantially complete by 365 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. It is the intent of the Virginia Port Authority to issue a Notice-to-Proceed on or around August 5, 2024. The Work shall be completed in all respects by 395 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Bidding Documents including Full Size Drawings are available directly from: A&E Reprographics, Inc. 100 Aragona Boulevard, #103 Virginia Beach, VA 23462 Phone (757) 518-0009 Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must provide a duplicate electronic version of their bid package within 24 hours of the bid opening date/time. All questions shall be sent electronically to proposalsVPA@portofvirginia.com. All email communications shall contain "Project Code 2024-43-VPA" in the subject line followed by the Respondent's name. Questions may only be submitted electronically no later than: 5:00 p.m. EST June 17, 2024.
