Wastewater Management Annual Repair Materials INTRODUCTION The City of Columbia is seeking bids from qualified vendors to supply repair materials for the City of Columbia's Wastewater Management Division. The City will procure various wastewater pipe, fittings, shielded couplings, cleanout boxes, manhole cast and lids, manhole risers, and air release valves. The wastewater pipe, fittings and shielded couplings are used for making repairs on wastewater mains and service lines. The cleanout boxes, manhole cast and lids, and air release valves are used for new installs and replacing broken materials. The manhole risers are used to raise manholes for access as needed. AWARDS: As the best interest of the City may require, the right is reserved to make award(s) by individual item, group of items, all or none, or a combination thereof; on a geographical district basis and/or on a statewide basis with one or more suppliers; to reject any and all bids or waive any minor irregularity or technicality in bids received. When it is determined that there is no competition to the lowest responsible bidder, evaluation of other bids is not required. Bidders are cautioned to make no assumptions unless their bid has been evaluated as being responsive. The initial contract term is anticipated to begin July 2024 and continue through June 30, 2025 with the option to renew for one (1) additional one year period according to the specifications, terms and conditions provided herein. The total contract term shall not extend beyond June 30, 2026. All prices will remain in effect throughout the term of any potentially awarded contract.
