***As of July 31, 2024. No bids received. The Sacramento City Unified School District is Seeking Bids for Qualified Contractors to Provide Construction Services for the Serna Center Complex Project. License: B General Engineering Contractor. Engineer Estimate is $780,000. The Project consists of but not limited to: a. Serna Center Complex Security Upgrade o Installation of interior storefront system and doors to enclose lobby. o Access control to lobby doors. o Removal and replacement of suspended ceiling system. o Installation of hanging soffit wall through suspended ceiling. o Rework of lights, mechanical registers, sprinkler heads as required for new work. o Installation of wall-mounted stand-off resin decorative panels. o Paint. o Installation of access control at Parent Resource Center. o Installation of access control at Bistro. b. Central Enrollment Lobby Security Upgrade. o Installation of access control at exterior and interior doors. o Construction of new visitor rooms. o Construction of work surface countertops and pass-thru. o New lighting. o New access controlled doors. o Installation of access control to existing classroom doors throughout campus. o Replacement of site gate with new ornamental iron gate, hardware, and access control. 3. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California contractors' license(s): Class B General Building Contractor. The Bidder's license(s) must remain active and in good standing throughout the term of the Contract. 4. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the Contract for the Work.
