Remove all existing roofing materials, patches, repairs down to plywood and/or wood structural roof decks at locations indicated on drawings. B. Removal of existing sheet metal flashing elements where indicated on drawings or where required to remove existing roofing and to install new specified roofing system. Dispose of or store flashings for reinstallation as indicated on project drawings. C. The Base Bid includes all labor and material to replace up to 100 linear feet of 1" thick wood board decking and four (4) sheets of 4' x 8' plywood roof panels per site. Contractor shall also provide a unit price for replacement per 4' x 8' plywood panel) and per ten (10) linear feet of 1" thick wood board decking as authorized by KCUSD or consultant representative. Roofing at Various Sites Bids must be accompanied by a bidder's bond, cashier's check, or certified check for at least ten percent (10%) of the amount of the base bid and made payable to the Owner. Pursuant to the Contract Documents, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment (Labor and Material) Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, and a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, as set forth in the Contract Documents. The lowest bid shall be determined on the amount of the base bid per site. Contract Time shall be (60) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Bid Date Note: Opening of bids shall be as soon after the hour set as will be possible; opening and declaration to be as set forth in the Notice to Bidders. Any and all bidders will be permitted to attend. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularity and to reject any or all bids.
