No bids shall be received after Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check made payable to the Old Bridge Township Board of Education, for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the total bid, not to exceed $20,000. All bidders are required to comply with the requirements of NJSA 10:5-31 et. seq., and N.J.A.C 17:27. Bidder should be aware of the following statutes that represent "Truth in Contracting laws: o N.J.S.A. 2C:21-34, et seq. governs false claims and representations by bidders. It is a serious crime for the bidder knowingly submit a false claim and/or knowingly make material misrepresentations. o N.J.S.A. 2C:27-10 provides that a person commits a crime if said person offers a benefit to a public servant for an official act of performed or to be performed by a public servant, which is a violation of official duty. o N.J.S.A. 2C:27-11 provides that a bidder commits a crime if said person, directly or indirectly, confers or agrees to confer any benefit not allowed by law to a public servant. o Bidders should consult the statutes or legal counsel for further information. Bids must be marked as specified and submitted on a bid form that will be furnished to you. All bids must be received by the time specified above to be considered. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids pursuant of NJSA 18A:18A 2(s, t, x, y), 18A:18A-4 (a), 18A:18A-22, 18A:39-1-27.
