Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Raritan, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project involves improvements to Colby Avenue, Berwick Street and Arnold Avenue (3,200 LF, intersection of Woodmere Street and Colby Avenue to intersection of Woodmere Street and Arnold Avenue. The work includes approximately 10,825 SY milling & 1,305 Tons 9.5M64 Surface Course. Base repair will be determined by the Borough Engineer after milling operations. Concrete work consists of 2,810 LF of curb and 935 SY of sidewalk and 480 SY of aprons installed in conformance with ADA Standards. Storm sewer structures are scheduled to be reconstructed in accordance with NJDEP Storm Water Regulations. BID SECURITY: Bid Security is required in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid, but not in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) as set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:11-21 CONSENT OF SURETY: Certificate from a Surety Company is required indicating consent to be bound as surety and guarantor for performance required under the Contract Documents. The Borough of Raritan reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or to waive any Bid defect where such defect is not detrimental to the best interest of Borough of Raritan and fairness of the bidding process.
