sealed Bids shall be received from qualified bidders on for the Borough of Stroudsburg "Road Reconstruction of South 8th Street", and all appurtenant work, in strict accordance with the Contract Documents on file at the office of the Engineer, Peters Consultants, Inc., 2701 Columbia Boulevard, Bloomsburg, PA 17815, or at the office of the Owner, Borough of Stroudsburg, 700 Sarah Street, Stroudsburg PA 18360. DESCRIPTION :- The Work mainly comprises milling of the roadway, installation of a 19mm scratch coat, tack coat and 9.5mm overlay, construction of 4 - ADA curb cut ramps at the intersection of South Eighth Street and Ann Street, adjust manholes, seal all joints and all appurtenances for a complete job in accordance with these Contract Documents. The Borough of Stroudsburg will provide adjustment rings for the manholes. The Borough of Stroudsburg will also adjust the inlets and complete all line striping. Each individual utility will be responsible for adjusting any valve boxes. LOCATION OF THE WORK: The Work to be constructed hereunder is located at South Eighth Street from Main Street South to the Borough Line just North of the Hampton Inn in the Borough of Stroudsburg, Monroe County, PA. Questions Due Date: Apr 26th 2024, 4:00 PM EDT Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the Engineer in response to such questions shall be resolved by the issuance of Addenda via the PennBID. Each Addenda needs to be acknowledged prior to bid opening. Questions will NOT be answered within 5 calendar days prior to the date of opening Bids. This Project is contingent upon obtaining all local, state and federal permits from all governmental agencies. If permitting is not obtained by the Owner, this Agreement can be terminated at the convenience of the Owner without any claims by Contractor for damages or costs. There will be no pre-bid walkthrough of the project site. The minimum participation level of five percent (5%) for Minority Business Enterprises and three percent (3%) for Women Business Enterprises MBE/WBE has been established.
