Portland State University (PSU) is constructing a new Art + Design (A+D) Building located at 1914 SW Park Ave, at the block bounded by SW Broadway, SW Jackson St, SW Park Ave, and SW College St. The existing parking lot will be demolished to make way for the new building which will be a 4-story building that is 98,700 square feet that utilizes mass timber construction for the structure of the building. The project will also include re-construction of the site concrete/landscaping in the right of way including new city sidewalk and expansion of the city green loop. PSU requires a consultant to provide special inspection services in accordance with the A+D Permit Documents: specifications and drawings. Consultant shall provide inspection services for all items noted on the drawings of the A+D Permit documents per the attached appendices. In addition, Consultant shall provide inspection of firestopping installations.
