Reference Number 0000350876 The City of Brighton is accepting Proposals from qualified Firms to furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and material as necessary for Design Services for a Pump Station at Lupton Meadows stated herein this Request for Proposal. The City of Brighton is seeking engineering design services for a new storage reservoir in Weld County near the South Platte River. The site is a current aggregate mine that is nearing the end of mining operations. The finished reservoir will have four hydraulically connected cells with a combined capacity of approximately 1,300 acre-feet of storage and will serve as an augmentation facility. New infrastructure will provide the ability to move water to and from the reservoir and the South Platte River, as well as move water to the reservoir from the Lupton Bottom Ditch. Design services include a new pump station, inlet and outlet works, reservoir bank stabilization/erosion protection, and spillways. It is anticipated that one pump station will serve to move water to and from the reservoir and river. The City is seeking engineering services from a qualified consultant (Consultant) for two phases of work. Phase I will provide conceptual designs and costs. Phase II will provide the complete 100% designs, ready for construction.
