Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Bangor, Michigan. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,130-square-foot municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
A new 1,130 s.f. structure will be added to the existing building. Work includes concrete walks, asphalt paving, roofing, EIFS, windows, exterior and interior demolition, structural steel, light gauge metal wall framing, doors, casework, drywall systems, acoustical lay-in ceilings, carpet flooring, painting, HVAC, and electrical systems. A five percent (5%) Bid Bond shall accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond, Labor and Material Bonds, and certificates of Liability and Worker's Compensation Insurance Bid date Notes: Bids shall be properly and completely executed on the Bid Proposal Form included with in the Project Manual and submitted in duplicate. Bids shall be clearly marked as Van Buren County Public Transit Office Addition on the front of the submitted envelope. Bidding questions and answers will be publicly posted on the Van Buren Public Transit website at online No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of Ninety (90) calendar days after the date set for bid opening Van Buren Public Transit reserves the right to reject any or all bids for sound, document able business reasons, to waive any defects or irregularities in bids, and to accept any bid which is deemed most advantageous to the public interest.
