The Municipality of Anchorage is an equal opportunity employer. The Municipality of Anchorage (MOA or Municipality) Solid Waste Services (SWS) is soliciting proposals from Contractors to provide construction services for the Cell 9 Leachate Seep Mitigation Project at the Anchorage Regional Landfill (ARL). The ARL is located at 15500 E. Eagle River Loop Rd., Eagle River, Alaska 99577. The project generally consists of excavation of approximately 150,000 cubic yards of solid wastes deposited in the Cell 9 area in order to expose approximately 0.9 acres of the bottom liner system, perform an investigation of the bottom liner system to determine the existence of any defects, and the repair of identified defects. There is one additive alternate to excavate an additional 105,000 cubic yard of solid waste in order to expose an additional 1.0 acres of the bottom liner system for investigation and repair.
