Site work and paving for a road / highway in Pepperell, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Includes Bituminous Concrete, in place, and Pavement Milling. The Town of Pepperell reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, be it in the best interest of the Town. Scope of Contract: The Town estimates that approximately 5,000 (five thousand) tons of bituminous concrete will be laid in place under this contract, prior to June 30, 2025. Work shall include all labor, materials and equipment, including bitumen tack coat, and hot rubberized joint sealer; subject to Prevailing Wage Rates and other requirements set forth in the specifications The Town estimates that approximately 15,000 (fifteen thousand) square yards (SY) of existing bituminous concrete road surface will be milled to a total depth not to exceed three inches (3”). Milled material will remain the property of the Town, and shall be hauled by the contractor to a site of the Towns choosing.
