Site work for a mixed-use development in Vandalia, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a golf course; and water / sewer project.
** As of June 21,2024 this project has been awarded to Pro Pump & Controls , Inc with an amount of $142,709.51.** Cassel Hills Golf Course Pump Station and Control Panel Project. Cassell Hills (CHGC) is currently bidding an irrigation system and pump station renovation. As part ofthis renovation, the existing pump station is to be updated and expanded. - The objective ofthese specifications is to renovate the existing pump station with upgrades to include a new pump station control panel and add a second 100 HP motor and pump. -The work outlined by these specifications consists ofprovisions oflabor, materials, equipment, and services required for all work as described in the specifications. The specifications are intended to include all materials, labor, configuration and workmanship needed for the completion ofProject; however, in the event an item is overlooked, Contractor is obligated to bring the missing item to the attention ofCHGC and with consultation of CHGC to make the needed changes. - All work herein specified or called for in the specifications shall be executed in accordance with all governing ordinances, laws and regulations and shall meet all local conditions. Any changes and/or additions in work necessary to meet ordinances, laws, regulations and/or conditions will be made without additional expense to the CHGC, but such changes shall have the prior written approval ofCHGC. All pump station related work shall be performed by the contractor, including but not limited to: 1. Installation ofthe new pump station control panel, new 100 horse power motor and pump and all associated components into the pump station building. 2. Installation ofpower to the new pump station control panel shall be performed by certified electrical. 3. Installation and configuration of communications from the pump station through the internet at the pump station to the irrigation central control software and mobile apps. 4. Initial startup and tuning ofpump station Spring of2025. Date and time to be determined by CHGC. 5. Initial winterization ofpump station. Fall of 2025, date and time to be determined by CHGC. 6. 10 hours of operation and maintenance training for CHGC staff. Location- Cassell Hills GolfCourse 201 Clubhouse Way Vandalia, OH 45377 Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any informality in any Bid. The bid will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder. The City of Vandalia has a desire to award contracts involving City concerns, and funded by City money, to individuals and businesses that are located within the City of Vandalia. Where a preliminary analysis of the bids identifies a bid from a Vandalia individual or business, city council may give a preference to the Vandalia bid and award the contract to the Vandalia bidder when: (i) such bid is within 5% of the lowest bid price (for a low bid of $50,000 or less) or within 2% of the lowest bid price (for a low bid price over $50,000), and (ii) but for the bid price, the Vandalia bid would otherwise be considered the lowest and best bid by the City in its normal evaluation procedures in deciding whether or not to award the contract. Pump station Contractor shall be responsible for the following items: 1. Power Company compliance Paperwork 2. All auxiliary power disconnections from existing pump station control panel. 3. Disconnect power from existing control panel. 4. Removal of all existing items that are no longer required for the operation ofthe pump station. 5. Equipment provisions for handling of new pump station components (Fork lift, crane etc.) 6. Removal of existing control panel. 7. Removal of any items needed to adapt new pump and motor to existing pump manifold. 8. Removal ofunused auxiliary transformers and panels 9. Removal of existing unused discharge pipes or any parts there of. 10. Installation ofnew pump station panel, pump and motor. 11. Secure new pump and motor to provided mounting location. 12. Installation of all new pumps with crane or other lifting device. 13. Installation of all new control panel, including wiring with liquid tight connections 14. Installation of any and all other items for pump station operation. 15. Verification of all connections within pre-wired panel 16. Installation of all source level devices and monitoring probes 17. Initial startup and tuning ofnew pump station. Spring 2025 - date and time to be determined by CHGC 18. 10 hours of customer operation and maintenance training 19. Winterization ofpump station. Fall 2025 - date and time to be determined by CHGC.
