Site work and paving for a civil project in Saint-Pacome, Quebec. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and for paving for a road / highway.
Reference number : 1526393 Deadline for receiving complaints: 2024-05-13 The Municipality of Saint-Pacôme wishes to proceed with the extension of its drinking water system to connect the houses located partly on boulevard Bégin (Route 230) and rue Grand'maison. At present, the existing pipe where the connection will be made is located under boulevard Bégin at residence #127. To minimize obstructions on Route 230, the planned pipe will pass through a secondary road, Chemin du Nord du Rocher, before crossing Route 230 again to reach rue Grand'maison. A drilled crossing under a Canadian National (CN) rail line will also be required. Since the planned pipe is 100 mm Ø, there will be no fire protection, but drainage hydrants will be installed to allow the system to be purged if necessary. As the bituminous pavement is in poor condition, it is also planned to rework the pavement structure of the areas affected by the work according to the recommendations of the geotechnical study and to reinstall a new layer of pavement. In addition, the off-road catch basins on Grand'maison Street will have to be replaced by new HDPE catch basins, as well as the pipes connecting them. Duration of work: 60 working days.
