Per Addendum 1 - Bid Date was Extended Isothermal Community College is soliciting bids for a sidewalk replacement and repair project at the Spindale Campus. Project will consist of the demolition, removal, regrading, installation and replacement of cracked and elevated sidewalks. All damaged sections of sidewalk are to be replaced and brought into ADA compliance with proper widths, slopes and grades. The installations shall occur at various locations among the campus. Slabs which are designated for replacement are marked with white paint. Other areas may be identified during the mandatory site visit. Approximate dimensions of damaged slabs are 48"x49". Dimensions of slabs will vary and be determined based on campus location. It will be the contractor's responsibility to verify the exact measurements of all concrete slabs to be replaced. Slab replacements will be 6 inches in thickness, comprised of a 3500 to 4000 PSI mixture of concrete, stone and sand. When applicable, expansion joints are to be no less than every 25 linear feet. Install new walkway to the sidewalk on the east entrance of LLC building to parking lot. No bid may be withdrawn after the opening of bids for a period of 30 days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities. Bids shall be made only on the BID/ACEPTANCE form provided herein with all blank spaces for bids properly filled in and all signatures properly executed. TIME OF COMPLETION - (45) consecutive calendar days
