The Base Bid work for the above contract includes: - Providing full depth pulverize, grading, shaping, and 4-inch asphalt paving for 1003 LF of Joy Marie Lane. - Providing full depth pulverize, grading, shaping, and 4-inch asphalt paving for 950 LF of Sherry Lane. - Providing full depth pulverize, grading, shaping, and 4-inch asphalt paving for 423 LF of Joani Lane. - Providing full depth pulverize, grading, shaping, and 4-inch asphalt paving for 845 LF of Dorie Lane - Providing full depth pulverize, grading, shaping, and 4-inch asphalt paving for 210 LF of Sandy Lane from Joanie Lane to Idlewood Ln. Major Items of the Base Bid work with approximate quantities for which bids are requested, include: 9,210 SY of pulverize and relay, 2,225 TONS HMA Pavement. The Work will be substantially completed on or before October 15, 2024, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before November 15, 2024 There are also 2 mandatory Additional Bids for the above contract: Additional Bid #1 includes providing full depth pulverize, grading, shaping, and 4-inch asphalt paving for 4277 LF of Loomis Road from Kramer Dr to STH 164. Major Items of the Additional Bid #3 work with approximate quantities include: 10,450 SY of pulverize and relay, 2,500 TONS HMA Pavement. Additional Bid #2 includes providing full depth pulverize, grading, shaping, and 4-inch asphalt paving for 3115 LF of Halverson Rd from N Lake Dr to Grove Ln. Major Items of the Additional Bid #4 work with approximate quantities include: 6,925 SY of pulverize and relay, 1,680 TONS HMA Pavement. Location Details City: Waterford County: Racine State/Province: WI A Bidders qualification statement form will be issued with the Bid Documents. The Bidders Qualification Statement form must be completed and submitted in a sealed envelope at the time of Bid submittal. No bids will be accepted from any Bidder who has not submitted Bidders Qualification Statement form. Contractors who have submitted prequalification statements to the Town of Waterford shall state this on their Bidders Qualification Statement form and prequalification forms will be reviewed. The Owner reserves the right to reject the bid of any Bidder who has been determined to be unqualified. As a part of their Bids, Bidders shall submit a full and complete list of: 1) all of the proposed Subcontractors, and 2) the class of work which each will perform. The selected Contractor shall not alter this list without the written consent of the Town. The PS & CD require that the selected Contractor and Subcontractor(s) furnish a Certificate of Insurance. Bidders should pay attention to the requirements for Bid signatures, as set forth in Bid Security. Bidders may not withdraw their Bids within the 90-day period after the date of the Bid Opening The Town will only consider Bids from Bidders who accompany them with a Bid Bond, payable to the Town of Waterford, in the amount equal to 5 percent of the Bid. This requirement serves to guarantee that, if the Town accepts the Bid, the selected Contractor will execute and deliver the proper Contract Agreement and Bonds within 15 calendar days after the Notice of Award. Failure to return these documents within this prescribed time will result in forfeiture, to the Town of Waterford, of the selected Bid Bond, as liquidated damages. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informality in the bids received and to accept any proposal, which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner.
