The City of Clinton is seeking proposals from qualified design firms to provide design services for the restoration of the Lubbers Fountain. The selected firm will be responsible for producing bid, construction, and specification documents that adhere to local code requirements, incorporate owner/architect input, and align with project budgets. Scope of Services Includes: 1. Schematic Design: Review requirements, establish water feature concepts, issue preliminary equipment specs, and provide initial design simulations and budget estimations. 2. Design Development: Refine design, prepare documents for budgetary pricing, coordinate with project teams, and advance material and equipment selections. Includes one design coordination meeting. 3. Construction Documents: Complete fully coordinated construction drawings and specifications for permits and pricing, including detailed plans, sections, diagrams, and finalized specifications. 1. Construction Phase Scope Examples (including but not limited to): o Fountain basin repairs o Landscaping at perimeter o Fountain jet repairs/replacement o Fountain action controls o Light fixture replacement/upgrades o Relocation of existing electrical service with pump controls 4. Construction Administration: Handle RFI responses, construction meetings, site visits, punch list coordination, and review of O&M manuals and warranties.
