The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Pacific West Area Office has a construction requirement for the following but is not limited to: Drill new water well to provide an additional potable water source for site; decommission and cap existing well in building; upgrade and add piping in wellhouse including the chlorination system; construct new valve vault near water storage tank; rehabilitate water storage tank interior; and a new telemetry system. Work shall include temporary potable water storage and phasing of work to minimize impacts to residents. All work shall include testing (of temporary and permanent facilities), connections and all appurtenances required to provide a functioning well and potable water system. Electrical: Disconnect existing well #2 while maintaining power to building. Provide new 480-volt power supply for new well. Provide PLC base monitoring /control with telemetry from water tank to wellhouse at USDA-ARS-PWS Range Sheep Production Efficiency Research Unit, 19 Office Loop DuBoise ID 83423. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, and supervision performing all required work in accordance with the plans and specifications for this requirement.
