Renovation of a residential development in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

The scope of work is further detailed in the specifications; roof replacement, remove and reinstall existing RTU. Minimal restroom work and ADA compliance at entrance. Filed Sub-bids must be accompanied by a 5% bid bond deposit of the amount bid, DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility (approved in the applicable trade/category of work noted below), and DCAMM Update Statement. Filed Sub-bid trade(s): Electrical, HVAC, Masonry, Miscellaneous Ornamental, Plumbing and Roofing and Flashing. The expected contract duration is 150 days. Prevailing wages shall apply. Deadline for questions: May 28, 2024, at 12 p.m. All questions must be submitted in writing directly to bid. info@boston.gov. Roof replacement, penthouse siding replacement, cornice flashing and accessibility improvements. This Section specifies the general requirements and procedures for preparing and submitting contract schedules to the City of Boston (City), Public Facilities Department (PFD) for review and acceptance. B. Acceptance of the construction schedule by PFD shall not relieve the contractor from compliance with the requirements of the contract documents or result in the approval of any variation from the contract documents. C. Refer to Article 4 - THE CONTRACTOR - GENERAL PROVISIONS of the General Conditions (00 70 00) for requirements associated with working hours (4.6) and schedule submittals (4.11). D. Refer to Article 7 - PROSECUTION AND COMPLETION of the General Conditions (00 70 00) for requirements associated with contract time, delay and extension of time. E. Refer to Article 8 - PROGRESS PAYMENTS, FINAL PAYMENT & ACCEPTANCE of the General Conditions (00 70 00) for requirements associated with submitting Applications for Payment. F. Refer to Article 12 - CHANGES IN CONTRACT PRICE OR TIME of the General Conditions (00 70 00) for requirements associated with time extension. G. Refer to Article 4 - CONTRACT TIME of Specification Section (00 52 13) for requirements of contract duration. H. Refer to Section 1.4.C of this specification for the specific software requirements. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services for the legal removal and disposal of all specified asbestos-containing materials, as outlined in the specifications. 1. The project involves the removal of specified areas of ACM from exterior roof locations at site building. The Contractor is responsible for proper removal and disposal of all ACM listed below in the Summary of Work Table Work Included: Provide labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work of this Section, including but not limited to the following: 1. Disconnect and reconnect all HVAC and Exhaust fans. 2. Testing of all electrical systems installed or modified under this contract 3. Coordinate between electrical and other trades. 4. The Electrical Contractor shall be responsible for processing all paperwork, filing all documents and providing all documentation required for any rebates which maybe available for the work of this contract. 5. Firestopping for the Work of this Section, including cutting penetrations and firestopping; complying with requirements specified in Section 078413 - PENETRATION FIRESTOPPING. 6. Core drilling for the Work of this Section. 7. Certified seismic restraints to meet the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Building Code applicable at the time the building permit is issued. 8. Coordination drawings and record drawings and similar requirements. 9. CAMIS excel spreadsheet data collection for Equipment Template and PM Procedure tabs as described in Section 017700 - CONTRACT CLOSEOUT 10. BIM modeling as specified in this Section and in Section 013129 - BIM COORDINATION. . Work covered by this contract consists of renovations and alterations to the Project described in this paragraph 1.02 including the following major work. 6. Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as all requirements set forth in these specifications. 7. Decontamination, teardown, and clean up following abatement activities. 8. Performance of any other work or activities required by this specification, applicable regulations, or as necessary to perform a complete job to the satisfaction of the Owner, Architect, and Consultant. 9. The Consultant reserves the right to collect samples of any suspect ACM and ACWM in order to verify that the asbestos has been satisfactorily removed by the Contractor in accordance with the Specification.
