Bids are solicited from qualified companies that possess the proper authorizations from the state of New York and county of Suffolk, and required insurances (general, workman's compensation and pollution liability) in sufficient amounts while also naming the Village of Poquott as additionally insured. Any bid submitted after that time will be deemed defective and will not be considered. Description of work: installation of three (3) 10'x12' drywells with curb inlet open grates and one (1) new 8'x 12' drywell with flush open grate. Removal of existing drywell and replace with new 10'x12' drywell with curb inlet open grate. Work will include piping of all drywells together with 12" ads pipe. Work to include all conduit and subsurface preparation and repair of the asphalt and landscaped surfaces. The village of poquott reserves the right to reject all bids or to waive any irregularity in a bid and further reserves the right to accept the lowest qualified responding bid that is deemed to be in the best interest of the village of poquott. This project is a public works project that is subject to the prevailing wage requirements of the new york state department of labor.
