Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Bardstown, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; for site work for a transportation facility; and 10,000-square-foot transportation facility.

The project includes, but is not limited to, finish grading, building erection, seeding, mechanical-electrical, and erosion control measures as shown on the plans and indicated in the specifications. Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price payable without recourse to the Owner, or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract. The Bardstown-Nelson County Airport Board will evaluate all submitted bids and reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional bids. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Any inquiry received sixty (60) hours prior to the opening of bids will be given consideration. Every interpretation made to a Bidder will be in the form of an Addendum to the Contract Documents, and when issued, will be sent to the Plan Holders list at least twenty-four (24) hours before bids are opened. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations of clarifications will be without legal effect
