Completed plans call for the addition of a 15,895-square-foot educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a 32,674-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

Sealed bid proposals will be accepted from qualified contractors by CSCS for the following: Release 3 - CSCS Elementary Additions & Renovations Project Description and Schedule: Two additions totaling approximately 15,000SF will be added to the existing 30,000SF elementary building. These additions can be constructed through-out the year including while school is in session. The intent is we will expedite contracts for key contractors such as Earth Moving, Concrete, Masonry, Electrical, Plumbing and Mechanical. We anticipate groundbreaking to begin Mid July 2024 and will work to get to a dry condition in the additions by late fall 2024. From there interior work will begin in the additions while exterior work continues and as the school dismisses in June of 2025 will move improvement operations into the existing building during the Summer 2025 break. The hope is to turn the completed Additions and renovation project over in late August 2025 for the 2025/2026 school year. All bids shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship (or lack of a relationship) that exists between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education of the Climax-Scotts Community Schools or the Superintendent of the School District. The district shall not accept a bid that does not include a sworn and notarized disclosure statement. CSCS reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in any bid and to award the bid(s) they deem in the best interest of CSCS.
