Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The proposed improvement consists of removing the existing sidewalk, curb, and gutter, existing pavement, and replacing with new sidewalk, ADA Ramps, curb, curb and gutter, pavement and all necessary adjustments, incidentals, and appurtenances. All proposals must be ac-companied by cash, certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond for the full amount of the contract, with sureties, to be approved by the City Engineer. Compliance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act is required under this contract. All provisions regarding EEO, prevailing wage, certified payroll, and DBE and WBE requirements shall be strictly enforced. All work shall be in compliance with specifications and all state and federal laws and regulations. The City of Peoria reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals. CONTRACT TIME The work shall be completed and ready for final payment within 75 working days
