The City of Hardeeville, SC is seeking qualified civil / site contractors for Argent Blvd. / Short Cut Road Intersection Improvement project consists of proposing improvements to the intersection of Argent Boulevard and Short Cut / Jasper Station Roads. The project proposes to widen the existing travel lanes from 11 to 12-foot for all approaches, to widen the existing rural shoulder to 8 foot consisting of 2 foot paved shoulders and 6 foot graded shoulders for all approaches. Question Deadline 06/09/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Completion- 4/28/26 Argent Boulevard / Short Cut-Jasper Station Road Intersection Improvements project consists of the construction of Intersection improvements that will be installed following the current SCDOT standard specifications and details. Proposed construction includes widening of the existing travel lanes from 11' to 12' on all approaches, to widen the existing rural shoulders to 8' consisting of 2' paved shoulder and 6' graded shoulders for all approaches, to add 12' left turn lanes to all approaches and to add 12' right turn lanes to the Argent Boulevard approaches, relocation of a water main and incidental construction in accordance with the plans and specifications. The project DOES NOT include signal installation; signal installation will be done by SCDOT under a separate project after construction of this project is completed.
