Site work for a water / sewer project in London, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This Contract Consists of Installing Approximately 16,700 L.f. Of 6" Pvc, Sdr-17 Waterline and All Other Necessary Appurtenances. Each Bidder Must Accompany His/her Bid With a Bid Bond in Amount of Not Less Than Five (5) Percent of the Base Bid. No Bidder May Withdraw His/her Bid for a Period of 90 Days. The Bidder Awarded the Contract Shall Execute a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond and Shall Furnish Insurance as Required, in the General Conditions. This Contract Shall Be Completed Within 120 Calendar Days After Date of Authorization to Start Work. Liquidated Damages Will Be $1,000 Per Calendar Day. Any Bid That is Obviously Unbalanced May Be Rejected. The West Laurel Water Association Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids and Waive Informalities. Bidders Must Have Experience With Similar Type Projects in Congested Areas Where Multiple Utilities Are Located. A List of References Will Be Requested and Thoroughly Reviewed. Small, Minority and Women's Businesses and Labor Surplus Area Firms Are Encouraged to Bid This Project.
