Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in League City, Texas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Project is located within the Cities of League City, Clear Lake Shores, and Kemah. The project will extend sidewalk from 3045 Marina Bay Dr to SH 146. The new sidewalk will be a combination of 6' wide and 10' wide paths (due to ROW limitations & adjacent developments). The proposed project will also include intersection striping, updating of traffic signal pedestrian systems including Stewart Elementary. From 3045 Marina Bay, a 6' sidewalk will be extended East approximately 700' (includes a pedestrian bridge) and then transition into a 10' multi-use pathway for approximately 4,200' to Schmitt Lane. From there the pathway will transition back to a 6' sidewalk for another 6,600' to SH 146. Project will provide pedestrian connectivity to commercial properties, schools, and city events for citizens in all cities. Funding comes from "Matching Funds for Partnerships" ST2206 As of July 11, 2025, this project is in the conceptual phase and is unfunded. An engineer has not been selected. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. The project is include in the City's FY 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
