Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Evans, Georgia. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor for the renovation and addition to the Columbia County Coroner's Office. The project consists of an existing one story, 1,240 square feet coroner's building. The existing floor (B - Business) will be renovated (745 square feet) and will have a one story addition on the left side of the building (840 square feet) for a total of 2,080 square feet. Type VB construction, non sprinklered. The exterior consists of Brick Veneer, Wood Studs, Concrete Masonry, Fiber Cement Board Soffits, and Architectural Shingles. Bids for the complete work in one general contract shall be made on the electronic forms provided. All Bidders must have a State of Georgia General Contractor's License and a Columbia County business license. All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn in favor of Columbia County, Georgia, in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work; such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptly enter into a contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond as provided by law and approved by the Attorney for Columbia County, Georgia. Each bond shall be equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to Columbia County, Georgia as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the contract.
