Construction of ButterflyMX Smart Intercom System at Four Federal Sites: The four (4) federal developments are Ausonia Development at 185 Fulton Street, North End, Boston, MA 02109; St. Botolph Development at 70 St. Botolph Street, Back Bay, Boston, MA 02116; Bellflower Development at 24 Bellflower Street, Dorchester, MA 02135; and Roslyn Development at 1 Cliffmont Street, Roslindale, MA 02131. SCOPE OF WORK: The Scope of Work includes Roslyn [272] one entry location, Ausonia [261] two entry locations Bellflower [277] one entry location & St. Botolph [253] two entry locations, but is not limited to: The furnishing and installation of a new 12” recessed ButterflyMX Smart Intercom system and all additional peripherals required to satisfy the technical requirements of the system. Including all permits, inspections, labor, materials, and programming. Ensure key fob / card readers and intercom interface and operate correctly and meet operational requirements of the system manufacturer as well as owner’s requirements. All necessary conduits, raceways, pull boxes, standard boxes, and required devices, shall be supplied and installed by the contractor. Special boxes provided by intercom manufacturer shall be installed by the contractor as well. All installations shall meet ButterflyMX’s Intercom Installation guide and Installation instructions, Wiring Diagrams and network requirements as well as owner’s installation requirements) The contractor shall run one or two (depending on distance) new Cat6 wires in new ¾” raceway and junction boxes from each of the six entry locations to the Local Network Switch located on the same floor as the building entrance. The scope includes all necessary components and devices for proper function and interface of the intercom system. Note: Each 12" surface Intercom is connected to the internet For the location of the each intercom part of the scope (6 total) as well as the location of the Demarcation Point (Internet, BoNET) refer to the floor plan provided for each development. (5) Intercoms are to be upgraded and replaced of the current telephone intercom system and (1) new intercom is to be added at a new location. The intercom Installation shall be sequenced by the contractor for the developments in the following order: 1) Roslyn, 2) Ausonia, 3) Bellflower and 4) St Botolph, installing in that order.
