Renovation of a municipal facility in Huntington, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Minimal site work, selective demolition and renovation to the building, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical as outlined in the Specifications and Construction Drawings. 1. General Contract (all trades). Bids shall be received from one prime contractor for all work as outlined in the Specifications and Construction Drawings. 2. The Contract form for the project will be AIA Document A101. See Supplementary Conditions for complete details. 3. Award will be made to the low, responsive, responsible bidder for the project. The low, responsive, responsible bidder must be approved by the Owner and Architect upon review of the bids. 4. All applicable laws, ordinances, and the rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over construction of the project shall apply to the project throughout. 5. Contractors shall note that the project is subject to the Common Construction Wage Act (effective July 1, 2015) for record keeping and all terms of this Act shall be followed in their entirety. 6. The Huntington County Community School Corporation is tax exempt. The Owner will provide appropriate documentation to the successful Bidder. Each bid proposal shall include all labor, material and services necessary to complete each project in strict accordance with the Contract Documents as prepared and on file in the office of Viridian Architectural Design, Inc. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. C. Each bidder is responsible for inspecting the Project site and for reading and being thoroughly familiar with the Contract Documents and Specifications. The failure of omission of any Bidder to do any of the foregoing shall in no way relieve any Bidder from any obligation with respect to their bid.
