The City of Grande Prairie requires the services of a General Contractor to perform Paving Stone Remediation at the Design Works Centre, located at #6 Knowledge Way, Grande Prairie, AB. The work details include, but not limited to: The design and construction of new sidewalk and landscaped areas. Refer to Attachment 1- DWC Aerial Map with Construction Plan for an outline of the current and proposed area. Attachment 2- Sidewalk and Grass Side Curb Model provides the build specification information for the sidewalk and landscaping. Complete work in compliance with National Building Code 2023 Alberta Edition, National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings 2020, and other relevant Acts and Legislation. Work is to be designed and constructed per the City of Grande Prairie Design and Construction Manuals. These can be found on the City of Grande Prairie website. Should any Engineering or Professional Services be required or deemed necessary by the Authority Having Jurisdiction, the Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining and subcontracting these services. Remove, pallet stack, and deliver paving stones to Owner identified storage location(s). Dispose of damaged and partial paving stones, and all other construction debris. Keep project deliverables and construction schedule up to date for review at site meetings. All shop drawings need to be provided as AutoCAD .DWG files and will be reviewed and approved by the City. At completion of the project, provide As-Built documents as AutoCAD .DWG files. Contractor to arrange for all required inspections. Perform final construction review with the City at the conclusion of the project warranty period.
