Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Rockford, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The Rockford Park District is seeking qualified contractors to replace asphalt shingled roofs at Blackhawk Shelter B, Martin Park Shelter, and Guilford Center Park. This project is being financed with funds from the State of Illinois Department of Natural Resources BAAD - Boat Access Area Development Grant Program. Minority business firms are encouraged to submit bids on the approved project and successful contract bidders to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, services, and construction. The Rockford Park District reserves the unrestricted right to reject any or all bids/proposals received, to waive or not to waive any informality, or to accept the bid/proposal considered to be in the best interest of the Park District. Requests for information (RFI’s) are to be submitted in writing to debbiebrooks@rockfordparkdistrict.org by Thursday, May 9. 2024 at 12:00 p.m..
