Renovations to Campbell Library: Phase 1 Notice is hereby given that proposals for RFP 24-51 Renovations to Campbell Library: Phase 1. Rowan University is soliciting bids from qualified general contractors to provide services related to the renovation of existing Campbell Library, located at 215 Mullica Hill Road, Glassboro, NJ 08028. Rowan desires to renovate the 4th, 5th, and 6th Floors in Phase 1 of the Campbell Library Project. The original Library was built in 1992 and has experienced substantial change in how the building is used by the University community. This renovation will seek to refresh the overall look of the library, while editing down the current collection of library materials, and incorporating necessary HVAC, IRT and electrical upgrades. Certain portions of the existing Facility will remain intact with minimal construction activity SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work for this project consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: 1. Contractor will complete all tasks necessary to complete the Renovation Project as outlined in the Project Manual. 2. The Project Manual contains a draft copy of the Modified AIA A201 General Condition of the Contract for Construction and a draft copy of the Modified AIA A101 Standard Form ofAgreement Between Owner and Contractor. 3. The drawings and specifications of the contract are intended to require the contractor to provide for everything reasonably necessary to accomplish the proper and complete finishing of the work. 4. All work and materials included in the specifications and not shown on the drawings or shown on the drawings and not in the specifications, shall be performed and/or furnished by the contractor as if described in both. Please refer to the Project Manual, Drawings, and Specifications found on our website for a detailed and complete scope of work. Substantially completed by 11/15/2024. Liquidated Damages: $1,000 per day All potential bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
