Demolition and site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Mundelein, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Project is being financed, in part, with funds from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, "Open Space Lands Acquisition & Development" (OSLAD) grant program. The scope of this project is as follows and identified in the document. 1.Demolition/Removal 2.Grading/Drainage 3.Concrete Work 4.HMA Pavement 5.Tennis/Pickleball Court Development 6.Boccia Court 7.Fishing Station 8.Fencing 9.Play Area Development 10.Poured-in-Place Surfacing 11.Site Furnishings.12. Landscape Plantings & Restoration Questions will be answered in the form of written addenda and provided to all Bidders, as per State of Illinois statutes. Submit questions regarding the bid in writing to sarah.dreier@jsdinc.com, no later than 3:00 p.m. on May 14, 2024. The Board of Park Commissioners reserves the right to waive all technicalities, to accept or reject any or all bids, to accept only portions of a proposal and reject the remainder. The Park District reserves the right to adjust this timetable as required during the course of the bid process. MBE/FBE PARTICIPATION The Park District encourages minority contractors to submit bids for this project. The successful contractor is encouraged to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, etc. Contractors MUST utilize the BHFX planroom for bidding.
