Project Description: The Rubber City Heritage Trail forms the backbone of Akron's growing bike network. Phase 2 converts 4420 ft. of abandoned rail corridor into a multi-use commuter trail. Improvements include 10 ft. wide asphalt trail pavement, enhanced pedestrian street crossings, curb bump outs, sidewalk connections to Middlebury Marketplace, trail nodes, benches, trashcans, Middlebury gateway plaza, and conduits for future fiber optic network expansion. The Director of Public Service reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive ODOT DBE Goal: 7%
