Renovation of a manufacturing facility in Leduc, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a manufacturing facility.
.1 Work of the Project, of which Work of this Contract is a part, comprises the following: .1 Addition of Steam Boiler and associated components. (a) The contractor shall provide and install new high pressure steam boiler on the existing housekeeping pad, complete with all required piping, trim, fittings, chimney, valves, feed pump, chemical feeders, blow-down tank, and accessories. (b) The Contractor shall provide and install a new condensate pump and tank package which is to pump to the existing condensate tank on the floor above. (c) The contractor shall provide and install a hot water recirculation system for the Existing De-Aerator, Existing Steam Boiler, New Steam Boiler. This system is to use process hot water from the building to keep the steam equipment warm during "off-hours" via a respective heat exchanger. The intent of this it to mitigate thermal shock to the equipment listed above.
