Description The purpose of this contract is to establish a service agreement with a qualified Contractor to provide underground utility locating and marking services throughout the service area of the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (Authority) For the purpose of safeguarding the Authority underground facilities from excavation damage, the Contractor will receive and respond as required to excavation notices in accordance with the North Carolina Underground Damage Prevention Act. Questions will be answered until Tuesday May 14, 2024, at 2:00 pm. All questions shall be in writing to the attention of Benjamin Guerrieri, Procurement & Budget Manager, bids@cfpua.org. The Work shall be substantially complete within 45 consecutive calendar days and final completion shall be within 59 consecutive calendar days of starting work.
