The School Business Administrator/Board Secretary of the Board of Education of the Township of Neptune, in the County of Monmouth, State of New Jersey, by authority of said Board, solicits sealed bid proposals for the following open-ended maintenance and repair services: IRRIGATION SYSTEMS MAINTENANCE Such proposals to receive consideration by the Neptune Township Board of Education are to be submitted in strict compliance with Public School Contract Law, N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive immaterial formalities in any bid if deemed to be in the interest of the Board of Education. The Board of Education takes no responsibility for the punctual receipt of mailed bids. All bids mailed are done so at the risk of the bidder and must be clearly marked with the bid number and title. Bids must be made on the proposal form provided, as designated and submitted in accordance with a "Bid Bond" or "Certified Check" in the sum of not less than ten (10) percent of the amount of the proposal, but not to exceed $20,000. Bidders are required to submit with their proposal, written consent of a Surety Bond, and agree to execute the required performance bond in accordance with the specification requirements. Bidders must comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 (affirmative action), P.L.1977, c. 33 (ownership disclosure); P.L. 1999, c. 440, - submitting proof of contractor registration (prevailing wage certification) pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq.; P.L. 2004, c. 57 (business registration); and all other Federal and NJ Statutes not specified herein.
