Site work and paving for a civil project in Crandall, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work necessary for clearing, grading, utility, & paving construction for 276 single family residential lots on approximately 148 acres in the City of Crandall, Texas. Bidders may bid clearing & grading, utilities, or paving; they are not required to bid all three. The clearing & grading, utilities and paving will be awarded as separate contracts. Certified/Cashier's check or acceptable bidder's bonds, payment without recourse to Owner in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of total bid submitted must accompany bid. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities and technicalities. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except the time for submitting a bid. The successful bidder, if any, will be the responsible bidder, which in the Board's judgement will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. The requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code, may apply to this Bid and the bidder agrees that the Contract Documents can be terminated if the bidder knowingly or intentionally fails to comply with a requirement of that subchapter.
