This Project Base Bid Will Consist of All Work as Specified Herein and as Indicated and/or Implied on the Complete Set of Bid Documents Dated. This Project Includes but is Not Limited to All Work Required for the Construction of the New Gymnasium Including but Not Necessarily Limited to the Associated Sidewalks/walkways, Exterior Canopy, Wind Rated Metal Roof and Soffit, System, Wind Rated Curtain Wall and Windows, Athletic Equipment, Telescoping Bleachers, New Electrical, Communications, Special Systems, Mechanical, Fire Protection, and Plumbing Services as Indicated, Miscellaneous Site Work, Site Utilities and Associated Paved Areas, as Noted in the Complete Set of Bid Documents and Contract Documents. The Base Bid Shall Also Include Security and Access Control Upgrades at the Main School Building, Including New Replacement Exterior Doors in the Existing Frames, New Associated Hardware, Including Access Control Hardware and New Interior Access Control Partitions, Doors/frames, Hardware and Finish Floor Material Replacement at the Main Entry Lobby of the Existing School Building and Other Security Related Upgrades. Add Alternate No.1 Shall Include the Provision and Installation of New Pre-finished Aluminum Wind Rated Canopy System Over Existing and New Sidewalks/walkways. Add Alternate No.2 Shall Include New Section of Concrete Driveway/parking Paving Extension to Existing Parking Area Paving at the North Side of the Existing School Building. Add Alternate No.2 Shall Also Include an Extension of Concrete Walkway Paving Along This Driveway/parking Area Extension. All Bids Must Be Accompanied by Bid Security Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Sum of the Base Bid and All Alternates, and Must Be in the Form of a Certified Check, Cashiers Check or a Bid Bond Form Written by a Surety Company Licensed to Do Business in Louisiana, Signed by the Suretys Agency or Attorney-in-fact as Per the Project Specifications. All Work Must Be Substantially Complete Within Three Hundred and Sixty Five (365) Consecutive Days After the Issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Any Person Requiring Special Accommodations Shall Notify the Owner of the Type(S) of Accommodation Required Not Less Than Seven (7) Days Before the Bid Opening.
