The City of Cape Coral is seeking proposals from interested and qualified firms for the Substantial Improvement/Substantial Damage (SI/SD) Inspectors, from qualified firms experienced in the State of Florida, to provide these services. Question Cuttoff Date & Time 5/8/2024 02:00:00 PM (ET) all questions must be submitted through online The City of Cape Coral is seeking proposals from qualified, experienced and Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) licensed Structural, Building, Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical Inspectors or Plans Examiners, and Certified Building Officials or Certified Floodplain Manager to conduct 1,200 field substantial damage/substantial improvement (SI/SD) inspections within the City's Special Flood Hazard area over a 30-to-45-day project period. The inspections shall involve visiting each property and providing documented findings and estimates that can be utilized to make Substantial Damage Estimator (SDE) determinations using Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) methodology.
