2024 HURRICANE SEASON POST-DISASTER ROADWAY CLEARING (THE PUSH) The City of Slidell is soliciting proposals from interested parties for Post-Disaster Roadway Clearing (also referred to as The Push) following storm events for the 2024 Hurricane Season. Firms should have experience in performing and coordinating this type of work. The project consists of Roadway Clearing following storm events for the 2024 Hurricane Season. Firms must have experience in performing and coordinating this type of work. The work will include pushing storm debris from the main roadways immediately following the passage of the storm. Each proposal must be contained in a sealed envelope and clearly marked: Proposal: 2024 Hurricane Season Post-Disaster Roadway Clearing (The Push) Slidell Job No. 950-112A Louisiana Contractors License No. Proposal #25-P001 Due Date/ Time: May 30, 2024, 10:00 AM The schedule of contract items and unit prices provided in the bid proposal shall be used through May 31, 2025 with an option, if agreeable by both parties, for two separate one (1) year periods beginning June 1, 2025 and June 1, 2026. At the beginning of each new contract period, the unit prices shall be adjusted by a percentage amount equal to the new percentage change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the prior calendar year end or five percent (5%) which-ever is less. The CPI to be used shall be from the unadjusted Consumer Price Index, All Urban consumers, (CPI) United States published by the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics. The Contractor shall hold a Louisiana General Contractors license. This project is funded with federal funds. All applicable laws, ordinances, and the rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over work of the project shall apply to the contract throughout.
