Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lumberton, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The intent of the Five Mile Branch and Saddletree Swamp Project (the "Project") is to expand and enhance the ongoing Lumberton Loop initiative by: (a) removing structures and impervious surfaces within select properties; (b) restoring floodplain areas to provide additional flood storage capacity; (c) building a trail / trailhead (Exhibit C) to connect to the Lumberton Loop trail; and (d) placing protective covenants on select properties to protect the conservation values of flood-prone properties in perpetuity. The City has established the following budget range for completing the aforementioned scope of work associated with this Project: $1,443,190.00 (anticipated Project minimum) - $2,443,190.00 (anticipated Project maximum). The scope of services outlined in this RFQ must be fully complete by July 31, 2026. A construction contract must be entered into between the City and selected Design-Builder by November 17, 2024.
