Site work for a mixed-use development in North Highlands, California. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and playground / park / athletic field.
Project scope includes but is not limited to removing and replacing the existing asphalt hard court and parking lot which include landscaping, lighting, and EV Chargers. Work to be performed during normal business hours. Furnishing all labor, material, tax, transportation, equipment, and services necessary for the Creative Connection Arts Academy High School Hardcourt Replacement Project all in accordance with the specifications and working details and other Contract Documents as defined in the General Construction Contract ("Contract" or "Agreement") (Section 00500) The successful bidder shall commence work with the issuance of the Notice to Proceed and per the project schedule referenced below. The District has established a liquidated damage rate of $1,000.00 per calendar day for each and every calendar day that the work remains fully uncompleted or unaccepted by the District. Start Date: Construction July 1st, 2024 Substantial Completion Date August 9 th, 2024 Contract Completion (Closeout) September 20th, 2024 The Board reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and further reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids or in the bidding. Bidders are hereby notified that pursuant to section 1770 et seq. of the Labor Code of the State of California, the Director of Industrial Relations has ascertained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the rates for overtime and holiday work in the locality in which the work is to be performed for each craft, classification or type of workman needed to execute the Contract which will be awarded to the successful bidder. Copies are on file with and available upon request from the District. The Contract Documents for the Project have many unique requirements. Bidders are cautioned to carefully review all of the Contract Documents prior to submitting a Bid and to obtain pre-Bid clarification of any provision which bidder believes is ambiguous or confusing, as provided for in the Contract Documents. The Engineers estimate for this project is: $3,330,000. Within 10 days after notification of the Award of Contract, the successful bidder or bidders will be required to furnish, simultaneously with execution of the Contract, a Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond in the form required by the District, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price from an admitted surety company as defined in Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120
